The "Miss Edie" is a custom made commercial-grade-fishing vessel. She's designed to be strong and is soundly made of solid fiberglass. She has good sea keeping characteristics for severe weather should she encounter it. She was built by Glouster Boat Builders for her purpose and has plenty of room for her fishing parties. Miss Edie is 38 feet in length and 14 feet wide at the beam. She has a fully enclosed cabin with comfortable seating and dinning arrangements. Miss Edie has onboard refrigeration, hot and cold running water, head with a shower, and berths forward in the focsel for your afternoon nap. The Miss Edie is powered by a TMAD 40 Volvo diesel engine, which is known for its power and reliability. Her pilothouse is fully equipped with state of the art electronic navigation, radar, video fish finder, auto pilot, VHF and CB radios. Captain Mike is serious about safety at sea and has equipped the Miss Edie with more safety equipment than is required including an EPIRB (Emergency position indicating radio beacon).
