About Captain Mike

Captain Mike is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain. He lives on the West River where the "Miss Edie" is docked in his front yard. That's where you'll be leaving from when you fish with Captain Mike. He has spent most of his life oystering, crabbing, fishing, exploring, and generally enjoying the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. He's knowledgeable and enjoys talking to his customers about bay history, marine life, waterfowl, and environmental issues. His favorite thing to do however is to go fishing; which he has been doing as a professional fishing guide for more then a quarter century. He still enjoys seeing someone especially children catch their first fish and gets just as excited as everyone else on the boat when they do. Captain Mike loves people and the Chesapeake Bay.
